Ever since the 1900's media has had a big impact on influencing the audience on what they believe to be the "ideal" life. With this unrealistic life perception media has influence their audience to what they believe to be the ideal figure for women. With this false accusation, more female teenagers and young adults are trying to achieve this "ideal figure". With this thought in mind many female teenaged girls and young adults are trying to achieve the "ideal figure". Media also portrays women as passive and abused characters within ads. Shown in This "John White Shoe Ad", the female portrayed fulfils the role as the ideal women. The women presented in the ad shoes, shows the ideal women features of big breasts, and a good figure. Also shown in the ad, is the women's posture and body language. As seen in the ad, the women shown is fully naked covering her breasts in a way that seems like she is being taking advantage of by then man. She is also holding a male shoe, this indicates that she is the caregiver and "maid" of the dominant figure which is the male.
In conclusion most women portrayed in the media are presented as the less dominate figure, usually dominated by the male figure, this is not the case women in society should be treated differently and shown differently throughout media and society.
